Though the precipitous hillside

Though the precipitous hillside
obscures my view,
the blue sky
spread out
I take a step forward

Oh, yes! You have made use wait, Kyoka, but what a thrilling return you have made with this poem. Lovely photo, too.

This gogyohka reminded me of one I wrote when I first started writing Gogyohka, which is almost 7 months ago now:

When most lonely
two choices sit
tapping their fingers
Walking into life
or walk out of it

"I take a step forward." Very powerful--quiet power, but still powerful. Like the sound of waves at night.

Thank you,Tim. Sometimes it is difficult to express every gradation of feeling by my native language "Japanese", so it is more difficult to express them by foreign language "English". And then I am sad and lonely.I rally my spirit and I try to express by English Gogyohka.Because I want to get better to English Gogyohka.
